This isn’t true. I tried getting the free trial and when I thought it was going to work it asked for a payment method. Because according to them, the actual membership starts automatically on the eighth day. Even if you decide to start the free trial, it will still ask you to pay for stuff. I swear this company will do anything to get more money out of people.

Worthless. This free trial isn’t free at all, they’re already asking for my payment method. I cannot get my free trial. Thanks for the useless help, Disney. Greedy pigs who will do anything to pump out all the money from your wallet.

How do they expect people to want membership if they don’t even have any gameplay for non-members? Little children won’t beg their parents for memberships if the game isn’t even fun without it

I think CPI is too unfair to non-members, I know, now everyone is a member and have access to everything, but once you’re not one, it seems crazy to me, that not even a single clothing item is available to wear, not even the pre-registered items you could sign up for.

It’s also ridiculous that the team charges you automatically monthly for the membership. This can cause many problems personally.

In my case, I’m considering of using the free trial, but I consider myself as a person that forgets many things, especially in a short time. I feel like this will affect me negatively as I know myself that I could forget about the free trial, especially if I have many important things occurring in the same time.

Also, some parents might be affected by this as it can encourage children to steal their parent’s card to purchase the membership.

This is perhaps exactly what Screenhog was talking about in terms of scaring potential customers with this type of membership purchases. Honestly, I’d even expect this from content aimed towards everybody or for a more mature audience. If you don’t pay your monthly subscription of Gold in the Xbox, you automatically lose it instead of having it automatically renew it.

Additionally, offerring 7 days is a short amount of time. There are other services that offer 1 free month and some don’t even renew the subscription.

I feel this is the perfect example that the CP Team is pretending like they’re bankrupt and that they actually want money. I understand that money is needed, especially in businesses, but it’s extremely insane and ilogical to limit the features in a potential service/product, encouraging the person to purchase a subscription for it. I mean, you have to be a member to ride the zipline, to slide in the waterslide, to pass some quests/daily challenges and to even wear the items we obtained after pre-registering. Even Screenhog admitted that it doesn’t make financial sense.

CPI has potential, but it’s extremely limited. At this rate, it won’t last even a year due to the extreme limit of actions a non-member can do to have fun. Was it hard to make at least a default item for non-members and give members the right to customize clothing, allow non-member to wear the pre-registered items, make the main quests/daily challenges for non-members and make additional ones with higher purpose for members?

I hope things won’t be very limited in the next few weeks when CPI adds more content to the game like puffles, igloos, more quests, etc. It’s even more extremely limited than CP.

Zipline can be used by non member

It’s free for 7 days but you still need a credit card because the subscription starts automatically in the eighth day. You should have made that clear.
