Club Penguin Island launched with three main areas. Beacon Boardwalk, Coconut Cove, and the Sea Caves. It’s a pretty small world as of right now. However, in just a few weeks, things are about to expand. I have found indicators that tell us that two new areas will soon be added to the game. One of them, which is a quest only area meaning that it is only accessible through a mascot adventure is Herbert’s Base.
The second area is a full zone just like Beacon Boardwalk. It is called Mt. Blizzard.
In Club Penguin Island’s sneak peek video of the Aunt Arctic adventures, we see a floating piece of ice with an antenna on it. I have a feeling this piece of ice is indeed Herbert’s Base. Herbert has been confirmed to be in the new set of Aunt Arctic adventures as well.
Even more evidence is that in the newest Island Insider, we got a glimpse at the new Aunt Arctic adventures in which electrical activity will be involved. That piece of ice has a big antenna which transports power.
It looks very suspicious…
In the new world map that will be coming with this month’s updates, we got a look at an unreleased area, which I assume is the new Mt.Blizzard/Blizzard Village.
See that red building with the circle in the middle and the flag to the left? I bet you that is the NEW Clock Tower!
This is some pretty exciting stuff! I’m curious to see what Herbert’ Base looks like in person. More importantly, Herbert himself… I hope Mt. Blizzard is going to have lots of animation with personality! Seeing snow fall and frozen over puddles would be awesome. 🙂
Mt. Blizzard arrives in May, and Herbert’s Base will arrive with the next set of Aunt Arctic adventures this month!
What do YOU hope to see in Mt. Blizzard?
