Club Penguin Fact of the Day – 8/16

DID YOU KNOW?

Game Day Staff Exclusive Cover

Club Penguin launched its first ever Nintendo Wii game in September 2010, being Club Penguin Game Day. Thousands of copies were sold, and the game did very well for the company. Each retailed version of the game consisted of the same box art.

However, there is another box art design that was given out exclusively to Club Penguin Staff for the game’s 5th anniversary party. The picture you see above shows off each box art. Thanks to Screenhog, I have a picture of the staff exclusive. It features the four teams on the front, and on the side, it reads “5th ANNIVERSARY LIMITED EDITION”. I personally prefer the staff exclusive box art. It looks much more slick and clean. Which box art do you prefer?

Only THOUSANDS of copies were sold!? That’s actually terrible for a video game, lol

And what about the back of it? How does it look like?

Anyways, I wish Nintendo didn’t stop with the Wi-Fi Connection thingy; I didn’t get all stamps and items from the game and thanks to Nintendo I won’t be able to get them. I wish there was another way of getting the stuff :/ Other than that, the game is fun 🙂

It wasn’t Nintendo’s fault. They were forced to end it because their hoster (I forgot the Company name) couldn’t continue it.
